Rosneft closes transaction on purchase of 30% stake in Egyptian Zohr gas field
Russia’s top oil producer Rosneft has closed the transaction to acquire a 30% stake in the concessions agreement for the development of the Egyptian Zohr field, the largest gas field in the Mediterranean Sea, from Italy’s Eni S.p.A., the company reported Monday. The cost of Rosneft stake acquisition is $1.125 bln.

Investors seek to acquire feed-in tariff solar energy projects – Egypt
Prices range between $2m and 5m per company. Informed sources said that ten Egyptian, American, Chinese, French, and Emirati investors offered to buy or contribute to the projects of the second phase of the feed-in tariff solar energy project. The offers include paying the solar energy companies the costs that they had paid to the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) and the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC).
