AIIB approves $600M loan for TANAP project
Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has approved allocation of a loan worth $600 million for the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) project.

Turkey to lure $28 billion in renewable energy investments: IFC
Turkey’s renewable energy sector will attract nearly $28 billion investments by 2020, according to a new report by the World Bank’s IFC arm. Some $16.4 billion of these investments will be made in wind power, $7.4 billion in solar energy, $3.4 billion in geothermal energy and $560 million in hydro power, according to data compiled by state-run Anadolu Agency.

WB can provide loan guarantees on TANAP gas pipeline’s construction
The World Bank (WB) is considering the possibility to provide loan guarantees for financing the construction of the Azerbaijani part of the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) project, Larisa Leshchenko, head of the WB Baku office told Trend. Leshchenko said the WB also continues discussions on the issue of financial support to the Azerbaijani part in the TANAP project.
